Newcastle & Hunter Jazz Club
Welcome to the Newcastle and Hunter Jazz Club Website.
The Newcastle and Hunter Jazz Club aims to foster live Jazz music in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley area. The club holds regular jazz band nights usually on the first Saturday of each month. A newsletter is distributed to members monthly. Other social activities are held throughout the year - for details of these activities scroll down.
The main activity for the year, The Newcastle Jazz Festival, is held on the last weekend in August. It is regarded as one of the best Jazz Festivals in Australia.
The 23rd Newcastle Jazz Festival will be held
from 27 - 29th August 2010.
The Newcastle and Hunter Jazz Club Inc is a non-profit organization, run solely by volunteers.
